Newest Addition(s) to our Family!

That's right folks, we are moving up the pet scale. First, it was a simple beta fish (no tank, just a bowl with food). Then, we moved on to FL hermit crabs (which survived the cross-country trip and are still with us today). Not very active during the day, but occasionally entertaining. Finally, we have just moved on to a full fledge aquarium, complete with some pretty fish and even a very small shark (small like 2" small!). The kids love watching it while they eat (it's next to the dinner table). Course they are still opting for a dog, but my rule is no dependant animals of that size until there are no totally dependant children (i.e. no babies or uncommunicative toddlers in the house!). Come on, I have my hands full here people! Or at least every stranger tells me so at the grocery store....

Oh, yeah, and there is one other upcoming addition:

You made me think twins with your "addition(s)".
Cute black and white baby. It is amazing how defined the features are for such a small little thing.
OH, and congrats on the additional pet, I keep hoping my kids will drop the requests for dogs and cats, yes, those are plural too.

Your phone photos are quite good-- I'm impressed.

It used to drive me crazy when people said "It looks like you have your hands full" (2-3 times a day) until I heard an older woman say she didn't say it to be condescending, but to mean "I sympathize with you and keep up the good work." So while it may not be true for everyone who says it, I imagine that it is what they mean and take it as a compliment.

I keep waiting to bump into you at aerobics or the park, but keep missing you. Three cheers for blogs to keep people connected. I'm ashamed to admit eating half of your pumpkin loaf alone before guilting myself into sharing a slice with my kids! It was awesome. Plus it made me want to change my name to Autumn or maybe even Summer, just so that I could do something so cool on the first day of that season. Thanks!! And I hope you find your marbles.
